OK, we did it. We bought into DVC at BWV through resale (100 pts). We closed earlier this week and are now in the system.
Wanted to thank all who post here. I put out a poll some time ago about buying in on a budget: less points at WDW or more at HHI.
Well, based on that I was going OKW. Was looking at but missed out on a 60 pt contract. DW was surprised I did not buy it, and also said, she would really rather be close to Epcot. So a little planning, luck, and convincing that 100 was much better than 60, we bought in at BWV at 100 pts (with 100 '07 pts banked).
We are now on the waitlist for BWV at the end of December.
