We've been testing all these new quests on Test site for a week and it was really fun having something new to do.

I had to laugh last night, most of the new weapons quests needs sailing and the elusive EITC barracudas. Never seen so many ships out at once in a while. Was a lot of fun. Now if we can just get them to raise the cap on the Level 40 and the weapons above Level 25, we'd really be happy.

The game has been live for quite some time now. I don't have a link but if you Google. Pirates of the Caribbean online you should find it.

Pirates has been under going extension optimization over the last 6 months. They have redone Port Royal, Tortuga and Padres. Cuba got moved closer for the newbies. We've all kind of wondered when we would be getting new content so there would be more interest for us old timers. (Some of us have gone to Toontown for a bit). To bring in new content, they had to stablize the game where everybody could play and wouldn't crash. The basic accounts now run a lot smoother.

At E3, we talked to various Disney Interactive people. They are console game people (Wii, PS3 and Xbox). But they have all said the same thing. There is a long term committment to Pirates Online and its not going anywhere. Hold tight and there are major things to come. And I can honestly say we do believe them.
