Pressed Pennies

Does it still cost only $0.51 for a pressed penny?
That was the cost in 2004.

We were there in Sept 07 and that was still the cost. 2 quarters and 1 penny

Good to know! We went to the Philadelphia Zoo the other day and DS5 was really into making the pressed pennies there. I carry one around in my wallet from WDW (Lady and the Tramp). I gave it to him, and I know he's going to want to make some more. I put aside enough quarters and pennies for him to make 6 pressed pennies on our trip. I guess we are starting a collection!

They also now have pressed quarters at WDW! We ended up doing both pennies and quarters when we went in Nov! But the quarters are rather expensive! It costs .75 + the quarter!
They also have books at the resort gift shops to hold all these in! I recommend getting 1 per child!!! Sharing did NOT work in our family! :blush: They are fun tho!!
