Crowds at the end of August

My family and I have always visited WDW in July. This year we are going near the end of August for the dining plan. I was wondering what the crowds are like compared to July? We love it when it is packed but it would be nice if the crowds were a bit less. :mickey:

You're going to be very pleasantly surprised! The restaurants may seem a bit more crowded, but the weekday late August crowds are on the low side. I would expect ten-twenty minute lines on average, and some freedom to walk around without bumping into people. World Showcase tends to be very low crowds. Weekend crowds are a little heavier, but still not up to July crowd levels. Enjoy! :D

You will be happy. It isn't "empty", but it is very reasonable. Longest time we waited was about 20". Most things were under 10".
