Had to tell you something funny that happened today. My 19yr old dd and I were talking about our up coming trip. We were planning our days and I was talking about a day or so that we would probably sleep in because we will be in the parks late. She says you people can sleep in if you want to but I'm going to the parks..:blush::D She is too funny. Talk about a commando...

That sounds liek my DH when he was about 16. One trip his Dad surprised them with an extra day to do whatever. DH's parents and sister went to DTD to shop, see a movie, etc. DH used his $$ to buy a one day pass to MK.:number1:

My DD14 is the same way. Although, I have to confess, I made her that way, and to this day, I am up at the crack of dawn and out the door to park opening. We don't come back until after the parks close. I guess I'll continue this routine with her, until I just can't do it anymore. I can rest when I get back home. :sheep:

She would fit well with our family. Even at our advanced age we still have to be the first ones in line at the park gates in the morning and are the last ones to leave the park at night. And take time out in the middle of the day for a swim or nap break? I think not!! Why waste such valuable time?

Actually, what we do is all day long we try to alternate attractions with long lines or that will be over quickly with fast loading ones or ones where you will be sitting for a long time in the air conditioning. Then we try to schedule a TS meal at an indoor restaurant for the latest lunch seating they have and hopefully coordinate the end of that meal with the start of a parade so we get a good 1 1/2 to maybe even 2 hours sitting in the middle of the afternoon. Then it's back to full throttle! If you plan this approach well enough you really don't need the mid-day break back at the resort!

My sister now calls my niece a little version of me because she is so obsessed with Disney. I tried telling her at least it's a healthy influence, but I don't think she's buying it.
