Ellen's Energy Adventure Name?

This probably isn't the right place to post this but I was just wondering, why did Disney change the name of Ellen's Energy Crisis to EE Adventure? Did it seem a little unpleasant or disturb guests because of Crisis? Just a random question. :mickey:

It was "crisis" They changed the name quickly for some reason.

The only thing I ever remember it being other than Ellen's Energy Adventure was the Universe of Energy.

It appears it did open on September 15, 1996 as "Ellen's Energy Crisis", but I can find no reason for the quick name change.:confused:

Not a very appealing name then - so the question isn't really why they changed it, but why they would have named it that in the first place!?! :shrug:

Crisis vs. Adventure....Not really something we want to contemplate on a vacation. Plus...if there really is a "crisis" then the ride - which uses a fair amount of energy - wouldn't last very long, would it? Crises don't last 5-10 years...do they?

I think that Disney does a wonderful job of educating without preaching and I learned a lot from this ride. I like how they present challenges, but don't dictate response.
