Shuttle To Universal

I am planning on staying on site, not planning on renting a car. What if I wanted to go to Universal for a day . Can I find a shuttle to go there from anywhere on the disney site at all ? I was hoping that one of the resorts at downtown disney would offer this for a fee. Besides renting a car, what are my options? If I take a taxi, how much should I expect to pay each way?

Mears shuttle sounds like the way to go. I will contact them for more details.
