White statues in ITALY/are they back????

I noticed on the Samantha Brown show that aired on Friday that they showed the white "live" statues that were in Italy. Are they back?? I thought they got rid of them ?

My Sister, Payroll Princess posted this question somewhere on here as well! She saw the same show and was perplexed. She finally googled it and discovered their contract was NOT renewed in 2005!
So, what's with Samantha. Maybe she was in the way back machine????:confused:

I wish they would come back, they were amazing to watch. How they managed it without a smile or breakdown is beyond me.
The best part was watching the faces of unsuspecting passer-bys.

I saw them for the first and last time in June of 2001. I loved them, and it was very entertaining. I saw one of them take a lady's purse, it was so much fun! Now everytime we go back, I always look for them.
