Star Wars Weekends

Are the parks nuts during the week days during Star Wars weekends or mainly during the friday, sat, sun times?

Since it is summer season yes it is pretty crowded. We have been a couple of times for star wars weekends which is really fun. HS will be packed on those days the other parks were not as bad. MGM (at the time) was pretty calm during the week days and we got through the park pretty easily then but the weekend as expected is much more crowded. We spent most of the Star Wars days getting pictures and autographs and the kids loved it. Expect long lines for the characters!

Yes DHS is very packed but if you get there early enough- its fine-

One thing to note...

Star Wars Weekends is ONLY in DHS on the Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. It does not run during the week, so crowds are normal level for the time of year. We almost missed out on buying some souvenirs, thinking we could run to DHS during the week & pick them up. The special SWW merchandise is only available on the actual dates (Fri, Sat, Sun), so you can't get the stuff during the week. And, the special events/shows only run on those days too.

All that said...it was a total blast when we went in 2006 and I highly recommend attending. :yoda:
