Thanksgiving in MK

We will be in WDW for Thanksgiving week. I was wondering if there are any SPECIAL parades or parties for the week?:mickey:

Nope. The MVMCP runs before and after the week of Thanksgiving, but none during that week. With increased crowds that week they really didn't want to have a night where they shut down the park for a special event. Parks stay open late to accommodate the most people.

Be prepared for lots of people Thursday - Saturday. We did not do MK on those days. Sunday night, we did the party at MK and LOVED it so I recommend it highly.

We were there this past Thanksgiving from the week before thru 2 days after. We attended a MVMCP and also on Thanksgiving Day the 10am parade at the MK featured the turkey that President Bush "pardoned". We spent the day on Sea Raycers and the pool as the MK was mobbed after that. We also tackled most of our "to do" list before Thanksgiving. Crowds sure picked up as the week went on and it got closer to Thanksgiving.

1) The only special event is trying to navigate all the people.
2) Other than that, most eateries have traditional T-Day meals.
