Saratogs Springs-Grandstand rooms

In reading all the info about SSR and which is the best area to stay in, we are thinking of Grandstand. We read great things about SPrings but that they are last bus stop and usually no seats left by the time the bus gets there. I hear Grandstand is the first stop plus it is also near the restaurants. Any thoughts?

Grandstand is a 5-10 minute walk to the main pool and resturants. We stayed overlooking the "quiet pool and playground" The walk wasn't bad at all. We never had to worry about getting a seat there for the busses. If I remember right we were the first to board but it still dropped off people returning from the parks. We liked the Grandstand area. It was a little quiet, and the walk to the 'head house' usally burned off the extra energy the kids had after a day at the parks. Bus rides too and from the parks was a little long, (25-30 min to MK) but it's the same amout from OKW.
