The webcam at the Dophin hotel is back up and it is currently raining in EPCOT. As they say, "a rainy day in WDW is better than a sunny day anywhere else!".

Not sure of the rules on links on this so here's the site and if it's against rules of use I'm sure a moderator will be along shortly.

Thanks Goodness. I tried showing my 13 year old nephew the website on Easter and couldn't do it!

Are there any other links to Disney or orlando web cams that work? I have searched in the past but all were either for something else or not working.:)

Wish the Dolphin would pay their electric bill. Just checked today and the site is black again.

Here I was, all excited. And then nothing...for 3 days. It's black for me. Don't tease like that. People get hurt when these things happen:mickey:

Just checked it out. Sure looks dark to me. Maybe because it's 9:50 pm......

Checked it several times after reading this thread and either there was a VERY black cloud over Disney all day, or it isn't working. I actually went to the home page of the site and checked out other places just to be sure it wasn't just me. All other web cams worked but this one.

:funny: I read the OP, and then clicked on the link. I saw black and thought to myself, "duh, it is 12:15am, it's too dark to see anything." Then I went back and read the rest of the posts. I now realize that it is just black in color and that is not the Disney night sky!

Wel-l-l-l, it's back up. Who knows for how long.

Looks like they've had some heavy rain as the lens is smugged or steamed up.

it looks like it is back up again, but it looks like it has a big finger print on the lens.

I wish they had webcams inside the parks. Just so we could have a little taste everyday.

Probably a security issue though.

Yeah, that would be awesome. I agree that it could be a security thing as well. However, have you ever been back to the conservation station at Animal Kingdom? (I think that's the name of the building. It's the one where you take the train to.) On this last trip, I discovered something almost creepy. There's an area in the building where they have different web cams on different animals throughout MK. It's really cool because you can watch different animals up close. But of course, we found somebody not using it for its intended purpose. We noticed some guy that was playing around with the web cam and zooming in on people who were looking at the animals. He could get right in on their faces and he could also see fanny packs, back packs, etc. These people had no idea that they were being watched. My concern was that he could see what every person was carrying on them and could plot out theft a little more easily than if he had to stare at them face to face in the park. It wouldn't be hard to figure out where that person was in the park based on what animals they were looking at. Yeah, I definitely see how security could be an issue.

Thats pretty cool. I never knew about this website. I wish Disney would do a website with cams facing the parks. So does this cam pic up the fireworks?????
