Does anyone know if any of the counter service restaurants that have the "fixins bar" still have the cheese sauce for the fries?

Alas, at places like Pecos Bill's and Cosmic Ray's now you have to ask for it as an extra when you order and :( you are charged for it, too.
Still worth it with the fries. They are just not the same without the cheese sauce.
Just another little :spend: expense at WDW. :sign:

I think Casey's at MK has cheese sauce on the fixins bar. At least it did in December.

At least a year ago, Disney took the cheese sauce from the toppings bar and started charging a nominal fee for a cup, but I vaguely remember reading a thread recently reporting the cheese sauce was back! Let me take a look and post a link if I find anything.

Check post No. 44 of this thread. (http://intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=127140&highlight=cheese+sauce&page=3) Apparently, the cheese sauce is free again!

Oh My God!! My nephew Joe will be doing the happy dance next time he goes to WDW. He and his friend Evan were so disgusted that the cheese had to be requested at the counter. They kept forgetting to request it and it wasn't worth standing in line again for. They'll be overjoyed.

:mickey: I'll be honest, I have never been a cheese sauce kind of gal. But 3 years ago I tried some at the fixins bar at Cosmic Rays and really liked it. As did my DH and DS. So we were all disappointed last year when we discovered it was no longer there. Glad to hear it's back. I'll give my family the news later on and I expect a little cheer. Now the question is: will the mushrooms and sauted onions still be there this year?

First trip down I didnt' try the sauce either but after trying it with my DS's I was hooked as well. I hope they keep the lettuce, tomato and mushrooms as well, Makes a great lunch!!!
I see from your "location" that you live at Aberdeen Proving grounds. I lived there back in 1967! I went to second grade there Hereford elementary school I think??

Oh wow!
If the cheese sauce is back at the fixins bar then I happily stand corrected! :clappy:

It was a big dissappointment for DH that it was taken off the fixin bar but if it is back this is something that could make his day. Can we get a confirmation that it is back before I say anything. Thanks

They were there at both Pecos Bill Cafe and Cosmic Ray's in February. :mickey:

Hey crazypoohbear,
Yup, we arrived here back in June of last year. My husband was made an instructor here. I'm just getting to know the area myself. It's a very pretty area. My son is in 2nd grade himself but he goes to Roye Williams Elementary (although it is a Harford County School!). Nice to hear from someone who knows the place! Maybe we'll bump into each other one day at the World! :mickey:
Aggie97: thanks for the info. I know I'll be having a burger now that I know the goodies are all back!
