What views do OKW rooms have?...and which ones do people prefer?

Most rooms at OKW have pretty good views: golf course, water/canal, woods.

My ONE 'requirement' is that I don't see ANY cars or a parking lot. When I'm on vacation at Disney...for some reason, I want to see scenery. ANY kind....as long as there are no cars.

Suggestions for buildings?

Thank you so much!!!

The vast majority of rooms at OKW have really nice views. :mickey:

Favored locations are now under a new reservation category - and these are the buildings closest to the HH.

Our favorite loop is buildings #23-26. Convenient to HH & main pool, good bus stop, great views.

The only buildings that I know of with lesser views - meaning you can, from certain rooms, see the streets behind you are in buildings 41, 42, 49, & 50. However, some of the rooms in these buildings will have a decent view as well.

I agree about loop 23-26. We figured if we are walking toward the bus stop and just miss the bus we want, we have the opportunity to get to the HH before the bus does (this is the last stop) and we don't miss the bus we wanted. We also loved the view off our little patio. Very tranquil. This was a very quiet area, we never heard a single bus or car. Not even our neighbors were heard! We love OKW.

41 more days and we will be there.

I agree with what the others have said and would add that I always ask for a water view. If you think you can manage the steps then the higher floors get better views too.

We always request Bldg. 24. Its right across the street from the marina, a 5 min walk to everything. Its also on the 6th hole of the LBV Golf Course.

Yup, we were in 42 and had a real nice view of the pond, with the golf course beyond. What's funny is that at check-in we were told that we hadn't gotten the golf course view we'd requested, it was a garden view instead. OK, requests are just that-requests, and the CM told us. But when we got to our villa, we found a better view of the golf course than some "golf course view" villas we've had! And no street noise. Very convenient to Turtle Pond pool, but very quiet also.

at what point did they make some of the rooms preferred? I have never heard of this before!

Since January, Members have had the option of booking under "Hospitality House", which will put you in 11-14 or 23-26

Does that take more points?...or cost something extra?

Nope. HH is a booking category but the points are the same.

Can someone tell me the pros of these particular buildings?
