My flight has just been changed. IT is the same day just a couple hours earlier. Do I have to contact Disney and let them know for the magical express?

If you flight number has not changed and you have provided the flight number to Magical Express, it should not be an issue. They will get the actual arrival time from the flight number information.

I would call just to confirm they have the correct information. Double checking never hurts

I had a scenario where the flight was cancelled that day and was forced onto a much much earlier flight. Luckily I had a layover around 8 am and was able to call Magical Express. I let them know what was going on and they handled things no problem! When I arrived in Orland there was 0 glitches. So you should be good.. just make sure to call & confirm

We let them know just in case but I don't think it really makes a big difference if it's still the same day/flight number/airline.

Because of the way DME worksm unless your flight arrives very late at night there's absolutely no need to contact them with changed flight times.
They have your reservation. They have your flight number. Their computer automatically interfaces with the airlines' and airport's computers. If there are delays, they automatically know about it.
Unless it's very late at night, they are not waiting specifically for you. They only really have reservations for two reasons: 1) it's required in their contract with the Greater Orlando Airport Authority (a concession to the local ground transportation industry); and 2) they want to know about how many people are going to which resorts at which times, so they can do staffing and dispatching efficiently.
As long as they have your reservation, it really doesn't matter to them if you show up at 9:00 a.m. or 9:00 p.m. The only time they would be waiting for YOU is if you have one of the last flights of the night, or if your flight is horribly delayed by hours or hours. If there are no reservations beyond that time (or no unscheduled flight delays that the computers tell them about), the DME counter will shut down around 11:00 p.m. or 12:00 a.m. or so. However, this rarely happens since there's usually late flights of one stripe or another.
And as far as your luggage goes ... if it has the yellow DME tags on it, it will get delivered to your resort room.
