Looks like a lot of folks are picking the Tigers for the AL Central. Would that be the same Tigers that are now at the very bottom of the AL Central? The same Tigers that remain winless? The same Tigers who this season have yet to even defeat the heartofor pathetic KC Royals?

Ok relax. I'm just saying it while I can.

My prediction for the 2008 season is that the Royals will still, well lets just say "struggle". I'm just hoping they don't "struggle" quite so much. Last year they went from 100 losses in '06 to only 93 losses. Here's hoping they make it a little closer to .500 again this year, maybe only 85 losses.

But for the time being ---- THE ROYALS ARE UNDEFEATED AND ALONE AT THE TOP OF THE AL CENTRAL BABY!!!!!!!

Actually I think they are 2-0 just like the Cleveland Indians ;)

Ah yes, they are now. But the Royals had an afternoon game on Wednesday (April 2), and at the end of that game the Indians had not yet played their second game. So for that moment in time, the Royals were indeed aloen at the top of the AL Central with an undefeated season.

Now, they're still at the top, but they are indeed sharing with the Indians.

Sure, it may have only been for a couple hours, but I'll take what I can get.

You just gotta love Alex Gordon this year...My son has his autographs from college and his rookie year last year...
Our local Lincoln, NE boys are going to do great this year (Alex Gordon and Joba Chamberlain)!!

I, of course, have to say that this is the Cubs year!!!

My prediction is the same every year - the Cubs winning it all. :number1:

If they don't - my fall back position is that the White Sox don't either and that they have a worse record! :ack:

I love baseball season, especially the first week or so when my Pirates (yes, I'll still admit to being a huge fan) aren't at the bottom of the pile. I predict that they will be in last place by the end of the second month of the season!

So, while I can still say this.....

The Royals remain the ONLY undefeated team in Major League Baseball and stand alone at the top of the American League's central division.

That was kind of fun!!!!

I'm picking the Red Sox to win the AL East and the World Series.
