Splash Mountain Annual Refurb

Does anyone know if Splash is closed every year at the same time? It was closed for refurbishment when I was there this past January, and we are going the exact same week next year.

Do they do this the same weeks every year?

I don't know if they do it every year, but we've been there near the end of Jan the past 2 years and Splash Mtn has been closed both times.

No they don't. I go in Jan because the parks are empty, this year I didn't go because Splash Mtn was closed and its my fav ride. The year before, it was opened on that same weekend. So I feel it'sw safe to say no. They tend to do more rehabs in Jan because of the low crowds I think, so it depends on the luck of the draw.

We went this year and two years ago, both towards the end of January and Splash Mountain was closed both times! Bummer!
