Does 4K have an attendance policy like regular school? Does anyone know?

I don't know about 4k. I'm assuming its like preschool/pre-k. I never heard of it I had to look it up on the web. It would depend on their policy I guess & your state laws.

I do know that in NYS that until the child is 6 years old they are not mandated to be in school full or part time.

If it does mean Pre-K, my daughter is in a program now through our school district. She will be in Kindergarten in September.

The attendance policy is the same as the grade school. They are allowed 7 absences a marking period, no more then 28 a school year.

That being said, I have three kids and not one of them have ever had an attendance issue so, I do not know how it would be handled in Pre-K if they went over the allowed amount of absences.

Not much help I gues..lol. ;)
