So the playoffs are almost here. I've been keeping a very close eye on the standings in the Western Conference.

Is it close. The NW division is the one to watch. Being that I'm a Preds fan - these are important games. Who wins and who loses could determine if the Preds get into the playoffs.

With that being said....very disappointed that Calgary and Minnesota lost.

So does your team have a chance? If so, what teams are you watching?

Sadly, my team, St. Louis Blues, will not be in the playoffs - AGAIN! They have really stunk it up this year, especially the last half of the season. So, I guess I'll be rooting for my back-up team, the ABDs - Anybody But Detroit!! :D

Nice!

So do you think PK was worth what he was paid this year?

I'm a big fan of the Wild. Tough division though...here's hoping for a clinching this weekend!

The Wild is my second favorite team. Earlier this year I got a chance to meet Brent Burns, Brian Rolston and Mark Parrish (my DH showed them around Gibson). They were such nice guys. I even made a trip up earlier this month to see them play. Sure hope they can win the rest of their games. It would be nice to see them in 3rd and the Preds in 8th or better.

Go Pens! :magic: :puck:

I believe the Pens are really strong right now. I like the idea that rather than keep waiting for people to develop, try to win now. This is why I like the Hossa addition even though he will probably not be back next year. I attended the 7-1 win over NJ a couple weeks ago and even without Crosby this hockey team looked great.

Go Indians, Go Browns, Go Cavs, and Go Penguins! How is that for a group of favorites?

The Western Conference is set with its 8 teams going to the playoffs.

I'm interested to see who will take up the last 4 in the Eastern.

Flyers made it, courtesy of a 3-0 win over the hated Devils (any game in which we chase "Marty" is a good game by me).

Too bad they don't stand a snowball's chance in :thedolls: once they playoffs start.

But that's okay ... we have a talented young team. We just need a year of seasoning and then we'll be back.

Although boy those Penguins are tough. A team with both Malkin and Crosby on it ... that's nuts!

If my Caps win tonight (I'm taking my boys to the game), we win the Division. I never thought I would get to say that earlier this year. And yes, the hated Pens are better without the "Kid"...

Marty actually stood on his head but the rest of the team forgot to show up last night.

I plan on enjoying my 2 home playoffs at the new arena and then moving on to baseball with the way the Devs are playing lately ;)

I'm glad the Preds are playing the Red Wings. They have a better chance of beating them than the Sharks.

And the Wild/Avalanche game has gone into overtime which means that Calgary is in 7th and Colorado in 6th.

Well, it would have been nice to win all 8 against the Devils.:(

But now we can go and win them where they will count- the playoffs. Let's go Rangers!!:number1:

Can't wait until Wednesday :hockey:

It's going to be a tight series that's for sure. I think home ice is big for this series!

Let's Go Devils!!!!

Can't say I'm thrilled with the Flyers first round draw. I would have much rather have played the Pens than the Caps.

I think Washington used alot of energy trying to catch the the Canes so you might be in good shape.
