I know in the past Epcot has hosted a series of concerts with a name similar to this. Usually they have tribute bands such as tributes to Abba, Chicago, Elton John, Aerosmith, etc. Has anyone seen a listing of this for this summer? We were there a couple of years ago in August and really enjoyed it. Thanks for any info anyone can provide. Mark

Funny you should mention this, Mark. I did an extensive search this morning, and came up with zip. There is one website out there stating that Disney has eliminated the concerts moving forward, but I'm going to wait for official notification from Intercot before I count them out. We've seen some fun entertainment over the years, and DH was just asking who was going to be there during our stay this year! At any rate, no official notification has yet been made as far as a lineup - kind of like Star Wars Weekends so far. I think Figment came out with the official Sounds Like Summertime schedule in mid-April last year.

Actually, 5 of the SWW hosts have been announced.

As to the Sounds like Summer, it was put on the CM website that it was closed.

My apologies, Joanna. There is no information other than rumour mill on the web as to current SWW hosts (including the SW website), or the cancellation of the Sounds Like Summer series.

I'm assuming our hard-working Intercot staff will be posting information for both SWW and SLS shortly! :mickey:

It's ok. I really want Sounds like Summer myself. I loved the Bon Jovi and ABBA bands last year.

I'm assuming our hard-working Intercot staff will be posting information for both SWW and SLS shortly! :mickey:We do not post information until it is officially released by Disney. There have been leaks internally as to a few of the guests for the Weekends - as well as the host. You can PM me if you want those - but I will not post them publicly until Disney confirms. :)

I would have loved to see the ABBA band, but since I'll never get to a real U2 show, 2U will have to be good enough! Thanks Carol!

I have seen the Chicago band, Eagles and Bee Gees. As a muscian I think the Bee Gees band has the best performance of the three. The look as well as the sound is great! Can't wait to see them.
