I noticed MK open until 1am Mar 17-29 w/ Evening EMH hours on a some nights which would mean a 4am closing. Is this right? It means on one day MK will be operating from 7am-4am. Wouldn't that be a record?
I know last year we did Easter EMH evening from 12-3 and it was the best time I have ever had at the MK; So peaceful, quiet and no waits. Haunted Mansion was cool as my son & I were the only 2 there waiting on the doors to open (No cast member). It was truly an experience.

we also love the 4:00 am nights!
its our goal one trip to leave MK about 4:30, go to mcdonalds near AK to get coffee, have ADRs for CP before the rope drops, check out the ceremonies, then after a few rides head back to our room and CRASH.:sleepin:
hey we should all have goals in life right?

This is the first I've ever heard of this...how fun! I'm sure there are no waits!
When does it usually happen? On holiday weekends?

The park was open until 3am tonight. The park closing was at midnight, with EMH until 3am.

On the days for EVENING EMH, MK actually closes at midnight. The 1am closings are MORNING EMH. (for the dates you mentioned: 21, 23, 28)

But still, 3 am is pretty awesome!

Sounds like it would be really fun! You have to wonder though, how do they manage to "prep" for the next day when their time to do it is literally cut in half? Twice the staff? Or maybe lots and lots of strong coffee!;)

We did the 2am closing over MLK weekend. We did ALL of fantasyland in under 1.5 hours. Absolutely no waiting! It was great...

I was wondering the same thing!! Remember the "old days" when they used to do maintenance in the middle of the night so guests wouldn't have to see the magic "spoiled" by upkeep going on?

This isn't entirely true though. There are some days that we have both morning and evening EMH. And I think the 23rd was on of them. Unfortunately, seeing as how I've been at Disney for 3 weeks straight and my days are all running together, I can't be positive but it was sometime in the last week.
