View Full Version : If you had to rebuild all of WDW and only keep one attraction, what would it be?

Let's say you were told that WDW was being rebuilt and you could only keep one attraction, which one would it be?

I would keep POTC.

I'm sure you've seen those videos of Walt Disney explaining his dream of the attraction. Purely Inspirational.

In my eyes, it was his best ride ever created.

Main Street Train Station
This sets the tone for the rest of the park and the transition from the real world. Walking through a gated archway or something would not even be close (Think of the other park entrances, especially Disney's Hollywood Studios).

I believe this post is an abomination. Tear down WDW? You're crazy. By the way, I'd keep the Tower of Terror. But you're still crazy :D

Hmmm...it's between HM, CoP, or PotC. I guess I'll go with PotC.

This thought clearly comes from a deranged mind. Have you considered seeking professional help? In my mortal existance, I was a practicing psychiatrist. Perhaps I could help? Oh, by the way, I would choose the Haunted Mansion. If not, where would I "live"?

I would have to say POTC. On my first trip to WDW it was the first ride I rode. So because I love this ride and it has sentimental meaning - it would have to stay.

Spaceship Earth, I can't imagine Epcot without the big silver globe.

What a horrible thought......a world without the "world".....where would we go while it's being rebuilt....the beach, maybe Gatlinburg....with these two suggestions I'd just stay at work year round...

I would choose POTC...it's my first ever memory of Disney, so I'd have to "save" it....

I can't imagine WDW not being there or being rebuilt. There are so many great rides. My first ride at WDW was Dumbo so I would keep the Dumbo ride:D

This is a horrible thought, but that being said, I'll cheat and pick one at each park:

MK - Pirates
Epcot - Spaceship Earth
HS - Tower of Terror
AK- Safari

Tough question...either POTC or CoP

My first though was to keep the Carousel of Progress, since it links directly to Walt himself, but after more though I'd have to keep Cinderella's Castle, although it's not an "attraction" per se, since it is the most recognized "icon" of not only MK, but all of WDW. It just wouldn't be the Magic KINGDOM, without a castle.

I would have to say 'its a small world', but Space Mountain, POTC and HM are runners-up.

Well if by "attraction" you literally mean anything that we can enjoy at the park, hands down it would be the castle. It's just not WDW without the castle.

But if you mean a ride, it would have to be Haunted Mansion. It just combines everything I love about WDW -- technology, theming, writing, originality, thrills, score

Ack - this is a hard one!

I'll say Splash Mountain because it was the first thing to pop into my head, but POC is a close second.

What a terrible thought! But, if I had to do it, I would keep One Man's Dream. We owe it all to Walt.
