View Full Version : Changing dates: Sept. to August

Just finished up planning a vacation for early September. even made ADR's. Now we have to switch. It looks like we will be there in Early August.

I know it will be hot and crowded. Will the crowds be unmanagable? I can cope with the heat, but not the people.

Early August is much more crowded than late August. Crowds decrease as the month progresses.

Can't go late August.

We are enrolling our son in a private school and they start August 26. That's why we have to change our whole vacation around.

Last year we were there August 11 - 19 and thought the crowds were very manageable for summertime. They were at or below our expectations with most attractions having 10 - 30 min waits with waits of up to 60 min for the big attractions. I'm hoping for the same this year as we will be there August 9 - 17. I think if you manage your time wisely and utilize FastPass, you should be able to navigate the crowds without too much trouble.

We're going August 14 - 23.

The crowds are very manageable - using the fast pass of course!

Don't forget to drink lots of liquids and cool down inside the shops and attractions!!!

Also daily swimming also helps!!!!

We are in pretty much the same situation and had to book in mid- August. I'm glad to hear that most people think the crowds will be manageable.

Hey, we will be there the same time as everyone (Aug 14-19). Maybe we will see you there! :number1:
