Your Favorite Stage Show/Parade

Hi everybody, like I did with the theme parks, I just wanted to see the popularity of each show and parade in comparison to each other. Enjoy!

I had a hard time with this one...I voted for Fantasmic but Lion King is right up there. Actually I think Nemo is my absolute favorite!!

I went with Illuminations but I wanted to pick Finding Nemo the musical. Why did you leave it out?

It's kinda hard to compare the parades with stage shows to me.

For me there is just something about the trumpets playing at the beginning of Spectro. I have fun even before the parade starts just people watching. I like it when the CM have fun little things for kids and even adults to do while waiting for the parade to start, like one time they brought a bunch of hulahoops for people to try while waiting.:magic:

For a stage show I like the Lion King show.:simba:

Nothing brings back the memories of disney more to me then when i play the spectromagic parade music! It is the best thing at disney to me!

I voted for Wishes... I get tears in my eyes every time, especially now that we have seen it so many times, Emmy knows the words that the little girl sings and she sings along! ::tear:: so special.

Wishes is my favorite. IMO the BEST firework show since the Millenium celebration! But Fantasmic runs a super close second. I havent seen Block Party Bash yet but am anxiously awaiting & have a feeling its def going to be in the top 5

It is very hard to compare shows to parades to night-time entertainment.

I picked Beauty and the Beast though. It is the one show I don't think I've missed since I first saw it.

However I really like Fantasmic and Illuminations. One of my favorites is the MNSSHP parade and fireworks though.

All of the parades and shows at WDW are incredible. I voted for Fantasmic because there is just something special to me about the whole thing that makes it that much magical:cloud9:

For me it is Spectro Magic. There is just something about a night time parade on Main Street

I'm the one person who picked Dream Along with Mickey, or as I'm thinking of it, Mickey's Gift of Dreams from TDL.

I think out of all the shows I've seen across Disney resorts (via videos, never been to them....YET), it's the most entertaining of the castle shows because of how it's presented. Three shows a day, each presenting a different part of the story. Features many rare characters, such as Snow Hag and Clopin. Princesses aren't in traditional garb - they have their original clothes on (aka rags to riches). I will say, after seeing Aurora in her Briar Rose outfit, I think I prefer that over both pink and blue(I'm an avid blue dress Aurora fan...the color of the dress in the entire movie)!

FantIllusion is a close second, but that wasn't a choice. Either Fantasy in the Sky or Magic, Music, and Mayhem for my favorite fireworks show. But it really is hard to compare stage shows with sky flowers!

Well, I'm glad you left off Nemo. It made my choice a tiny bit easier!

Hard to pick between FOTLK and Spectro...but Lion King got my vote.

It has to be Fantasmic for me...The music, the water, everything about this show is amazing...I even like to wait for it to begin...My kids loved doing the wave before it started...We missed it last trip and I didnt feel as if our trip was complete...Cant wait to go back and see it again...:mjump:

I don't mind missing most of the parades and a few of the nighttime shows. BUT, Fantasmic is one thing that I just CAN'T miss. My trip is not complete without it. Everything from the build-up to the end... just.. WOW!

The daytimes parades are just getting worse in my opinion. The best one that i've ever seen was the "Remember the Magic" parade. LOVED IT! I have special memories with that parade and I think the music was by far the best.

As far as a stage show, it would have to be the Festival of the Lion King. As far as a parade or night time show, I would probably go with Illuminations. It always blows me away!!!!

Talk about a diffucult decision. I like or love so many of these, but there are still a couple new ones I have yet to see. Wow, you don't make it easy do you?

Illuminations is my favorite. I think it's the music that I like the most. I actually haven't seen any of the shows like FOTLK or Nemo. That is a goal for the next trip!

I chose FOTLK but a close second is definitely Illuminations. I must see both when I am there. I also love the Nemo show.

That's a hard one. I ended up voting for FotLK. But I also love seeing Dream Along for shows.

For parades, I love MJJP and DDCT. I can't wait to see BPB.

I enjoy the parades and the other shows, but that one gets me right out of my seat and makes me feel like a little kid again. (And how can you not love and be amazed by those monkeys/acrobats???) well this 1 was easy for me and dw, it's Fantasmic!! this show is awesome , it has every element that we love about Disney, the great stage set up , the show, the music, the presentation ,fireworks, it has it all.

Fantasmic is my favorite, the music, the effects, the magic...

I've only seen it once last June as every other trip we kept on missing it but when I finally saw it...wow! True Disney magic at work! :magic:

Guess I'm the only one to vote for the MK parade.

I had to vote for the 3:00 parade for 1 reason: I was in it with my high school marching band. While I realize it's not exactly the same parade line up as when we were there, it's still one of the highlights of my professional career. :thumbsup:
