Regal Sun Character Breakfast

Has anyone done the Regal Sun Resort Character Breakfast? I know it’s only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 8:30-10:30. I have never done an off property character meal. How does the experience compare to a Chef Mickey’s or Cape May? How does the price compare? What characters are there? My instincts say that it would be a lesser experience. Then again, I wouldn’t think that Disney would allow their characters at a sub par restaurant. Perhaps it’s a money saving option for character dining. Is it just for Regal Sun guests? Do they take reservations? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
