AP Price Increase?

When did the AP price increase last year? I am wanting to purchase one for our upcoming trip, but wanted to do it before the price increased again. Thanks.

I don't know the answer to your question, but it got me to thinking.

There isn't really a schedule for price increases. I've seen them go up more than once in a year. Can't you pay for it now and it not go into effect until you trade the voucher for the actual pass and use it for the first time? It used to work like that but we have had a premium annual pass for so many years, and since we just renew it each year, I don't remember the procedure to buy one for the first time. Sorry.

I would guess that you'll see a price increase prior to 2009 when it appears you're going next. In '06 they raised ticket prices two times - January & August. I believe in '07 there was one price increase - and that was in August.

At any time they can raise prices without much, if any, notice. As soon as you can afford it, I'd purchase the vouchers so that you won't get caught by the next increase - that's what we did. I was actually concerned earlier in the year that they'd increase tickets again so we bought our passes for our July trip, but as of yet they haven't. :mickey:
