What do you think is the best place to watch Illuminations?

I think you need to watch the wind. We usually are there when there is a wind to see Illuminations with no smoke from Germany or Japan. Usually never from Canada or England.

Too tell you the truth there are sooooo many great places that there will be so many answers to this questions. We like to be by the bridge by the first aid station by where the old Oddessey restaurant used to be. There we can see everything along with out the big groups of people hanging out. Then we can get out of the park ahead of the hords of people. We have been at many different locations and they all have been good.

Our family has two favorite spots.

One is in Mexico, up against the lagoon across from the margarita stand! Excellent view.

The second one is a luck of the draw. We really enjoy sitting at Rose and Crown on the patio having dinner and watching the show.

Both are great.

Having watched the different shows in the lagoon multiple times each over the year, there really is no one best spot. You can get great views all of the place and each is its own unique experience, and all good if you follow a couple of guidelines.

As noted in a previous post, check the wind direction and which way the smoke will blow, often NW to SE from Canada to Germany, but obviously that can change. So don't stand in the wind line. Second, look for the fireworks barges and make sure you have a relatively unobstructed view of them, that's where the globe will end up being. Third, try to see the globe in its staring position at the American Adventure pavillion. Do those three things and the show will be great. Enjoy.:mickey:
