Will be traveling with our 4 year old DD. Is the AK parade worth possibly missing an afternoon nap/break just for the one day?

I personally love the Animal Kingdom parade. It is very fun and different from the other parades. We were so depressed when it rained our last trip and it was canceled. I can not wait to go in September to see it , I consider it a must do on our trips.:mickey:

:ditto: We really enjoy it. If you've ever seen the Lion King Broadway show the animals in the parade are very similar. Extremely creative and different from the standard Disney parades.

We love this parade! You can really dance along to it - the puppets are great!

I think it is a great parade, and because of the design of the park it seems to be much easier to find front row seats close to parade time.

My boys (6 and 4) really like this parade. It is a lot easier to see then the parade at MK also. Usually seems a lot less crowded.

1) It is worth it for the clever pageantry.
2) Also, because it is easier for families to be selected to ride in it.

I think it is most definitely worth it. The parade is awesome. The music, bright colors, larger than life puppets, and many characters will hold a child's attention. However, only YOU know how important your child's nap is and whether or not your child will do well without that sleep. Perhaps, your child could nap in the stroller earlier in the day?? I would definitely make an effort to see the parade if able to.

I like all Disney parades!!!
The AK jungle parade is great, and as others have said, seams less crowded and easy to find a spot to watch.
There are lots of great viewing spots in the shade. I would like to volunteer to sit and take a nap while waiting for the parade to start.

Have a magical day

If you have a kid,you should hit the parade. Anytime you get a viewing of Mickey, Donald, and the gang without standing in line for 30 minutes is a golden oppurtunity.

I guess since everybody seems to agree.... we will fit the parade into our day! We will either take an earlier break or just tough it out.... unless she has a melt down. I would hate to miss it now that everyone has said how good it was. Thanks!
