Twilight?

I've heard a lot about this series, especially from my friends, who absolutely adore this series. I was wondering what all y'all's opinons were of it, because I'm deciding whether or not I should read it.
Is it sort of like Harry Potter? I liked Harry Potter before it got all hyped up and super-popular.

I have not read it myself but my daughter is fanatical about this series. I think she has read each book 3 or 4 times, and is already anxiously awaiting the movie due out in 2010! Sorry I don't really know much about the plot lines or story besides that it involves vampires. But she would certainly recommend them.

I would highly recommend them!
The plot is basically about Bella, a teenage girl who moves from Arizona to Forks,Washington, to live with her Dad. There She meets Edward. Edward is a vampire. But Edward and his family have trained themselves not to feed off people; instead they feed on animals. But it's bsically about all the stuff Bella and Edward go through..
I've read all 3 books and can't wait for the 4th!
