Wedding Pics to Share!!

Hi all!

I got my wedding pix back from the photographer yesterday. I posted about 1/4 of them on my site. You have to have the patience of a saint to upload photos through dial-up!

I'll be adding more early next week. I don't think I have a pic of the Mickey cake in this batch, so hopefully that'll be up reallllll soon! It was a real hit!

It is. It's called a "Barong Tagalog". It comes from Filipino culture (my side). It worked out perfectly because DH didn't want to wear a tuxedo and the guys got so warm during the night that the sheer silk fabric actually let a little breeze through.

There's a cool website if you're interested that we ordered from www.mybarong.com (http://www.mybarong.com) They can custom create shirts for you in the Philippines and then they ship all over the world. it only took about 5 weeks to get ours. I was soooo pleased with how they turned out!

No, I was a Jeff Cirillo fan back in the day. Alas, he finally hung it up last year since the Brewers didn't want to sign him for the '08 season. I just can't come to change the username, though.

We were so happy with the barongs. All the guys loved them because they were so nice and airy. They all want to be honorary Filipinos now. It was nice because they offer a lot of color combos and at least 50 embroidery designs from very simple to very intricate. And it was a fairly quick turn-around. Lot better than having my Dad bring them back from Manila.
