Are both water parks usually open in November?

We have never done the water parks on our November trips... was wondering if they are both open. My kids especially would like to go to Blizzard Beach.

We've been a couple of times at the end of November and one of them is always closed.

One usually closes the last week of October for maintenance. I'm not sure how many weeks it stays closed

eekkss... does anyone know when they announce which one?? I know blizzard beach is on a long refurbishment now. tks

We went Thanksgiving week for a few years in a row back in the early 2000's and one was always closed. They alternated from year to year which one would be closed that week.

oh darn... blizzard beach was open in 2007, I stopping at it on our way to another park.... guess I will just have to wait and see.
