:mickey:If you have 200 points at 1 resort and 100 at another, how would making reservations work with the 7 and 11 month windows. For example, say you want to stay at beach club for 270 points and that is your home resort, but you only bought 200 points for that resort. Can you still book 11 months in advance? Also, is it the same in all scenarios?

Thanks

The easiest way to handle that would be to just use your 200 points and borrow the 70 points needed and book it in the 7-11 month window. The other 100 points for your other home resort just bank them for a trip the following year at that resort even if you have to borrow a few points. I feel this would be the best way to go since the BCV are a popular resort and can get booked rather quickly depending on the time of year you would like to visit.

The advice from Vince above is the best scenario.

Can you still book 11 months in advance?
You can only use your "home points" at the 11 month window. Then at the 7 month mark, you can use the other 100 points.

So if you have 200 points at the BCV and 100 points at, let's say SSR, you can use only the 200 to book the BC from 7-11 months. Likewise, you can use the 100 points for SSR at 7-11 months.

Once the seven month window is open, you can use all 300 points at any of the DVC resorts.

Like Vince stated above, if you're interested in the BCV, your best bet is to book it early; this location is probably the most popular DVC locale.
