If you go to this page, it has four links near the bottom. Waltopia, Postcards and a couple of other's. You can see things that a lot of people didn't know about. The first one has a page about 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. It show's behind the scenes and all. Some very informative. This is fun and I'm going to go look for more sites that gives you the history of WDW.

Cool link - thanks.
I well remember Kitchen Kabaret, 20,000 Leagues and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. (For sure they should have kept MTWR and replaced Snow White's Boring Adventure with Pooh - but what do I know?)

This is an excellent site. I particularly enjoyed the section on Discovery Island. Every time that we are on the Sea Racers I love to stop and look at the Island.

I have known about this site for a few years now. It is one of my favorites. About a month before a trip to Disney my sister and I engage in a Disney trivia / scavenger hunt game. And this site has come in hand a couple of times. Some of the harder questions are as follows:
- Find a picture of the Monorail maintenance shed.
- Find a picture of the wave machine originally built for the Seven Seas Lagoon
- Name the monorail hotel originally planned, but never built.

It is always a fun game.

Those were the days I was a tot then and I remember being scared to death on Mr. toads wild ride when the train was coming. And Mission to
mars I couldn't figure out how come I didn't see any rocket ships shooting up into the air before we entered the theatre. And of course my parents taught me how to be thrifty and enjoy If you had WIngs it was a free ride which we rode several times. I loved the part where your car would tip back while viewing the 360 degree screen showing if I remember an ice sailboat(?)all the while with a fan blowing cool air in my face. It took me until my teen years to return and figure out how this technical miracle was performed. I didn't enjoy having tickets since we had to limit the number of rides you could get on and sometimes the tickets had a couple of odd ball choices that were on the same tickets. I was usually over ruled. Was it better? No I don't think so but it was different and exciting. Much as it is today. Then it was a vacation. It has now evolved into a way of life!
P.S. Do you know if there is a link to a recording of the Haunted Mansion Album that was out in the 70's online?

That was so cool! Thanks for sharing! I wish I'd have experienced alot of these attraction's! (Apparently I was a deprived child! - just kidding!)

I've never actually seen any of these extinct attractions - except in pictures. My first trip was with DH & DS's 6 years ago! I hope my DS's continue their love of WDW & carry it on to their kids!

What a wonderful link! Thanks so much!

20,000 Leagues was really such a cheesy ride...but as a kid I just ate it up with a spoon!
