Illuminations Question

I guess I never paid attention before but the last couple of times I noticed that the Morrocco Pavillion doesn't have any lights on it. Does anyone know why?

I believe it has something to do with their government and their religion. I remember hearing when the lights were originally being put on buildings Morocco asked them not to include them on the Moroccan pavilion so there are no lights there to this day.

Chris would be correct. It was out of the request by the Moroccan gov't, who is the only gov't to sponsor their own pavilion at Epcot.

Because the buildings in the Morocco pavilion are replicas of structures with great religious significance, they are not lit. As mentioned, it is the only national pavilion sponsored by a government rather than by one or more of the nation's domestic corporations.
