just need a celebration for my 2 yrs old son!!! he has autism and lost the 3 words he had at 20months. well , he started therapy last month and today he was watching baby einsteins' and he said BABY!!!!!!! clear as could be and he said it over and over, in the right context too. then he got his sister's baby doll, brought in to me and said baby , then gave the baby a kiss!!!! it doens't sound like much, but is a major breakthough for us!!!!! just had to share. thanks, rachel :cloud9:

That is great news. He should start picking up more words now, hopefully. How many times a week does he have therapy. My nephew is speech delayed and he had a great therapist where he used to go to school (he's almost 5 now). The ones he has now aren't so great. Don't be afraid to ask for a change if you don't see improvement at a rate you think is appropriate.

what a great moment for you all!!!
Congratulations on the milestone.
IT is a big deal and hopefully he will continue on his progress.
Good for you for getting him in therapy early, this really is key to success with autism.
