Does it pose a problem if not everyone at the table is on the dining plan?

More specifically, if my wife and I are on the dining plan, and eating at a Downtown Disney restaurant, and we are joined by a relative that lives locally. Will they let us use our Dining Plan and separately bill the other party? Or does this mess up the billing for our table?

Shouldn't be a problem. We had the same situation last year at the Concourse Steakhouse. They just gave the local party a separate check.

we have done this as well. Just make sure you let the server know at the beginning of the bill, who will be on the DDP and who won't.

1) No problem, as folks at same table can be on or not on DDP.
2) However, please remember that many eateries at DTD are not on DDP.

I would tell your server at the beginning of the meal that members of your party are not on the Disney Dining Plan. You will receive two separate bills.
