My sister in law read some where that disney is offering a fast past that you can purchase. You pay an extra fee and don't have to stay in line at all. I could not find this anywhere. Does this actually exist, or is this something they are thinking about.

I don't believe this exists yet. I think it is something Disney is considering doing in the future though.

Fastpass is not something you purchase. It is a free service offered to park guests. Only one fastpass is allowed at a time. It definitely saves you time from waiting in those long lines.:)

I hope not!! If everyone 'buys' the fast pass...then there wont be any point of having a fast pass!! I think it is fair the way it is now!

It's been several years since Disney was awarded numerous patents for changes to the FASTPASS system ... none of those has been put into place, and no changes are pending.

1) I have heard the exact same thing.
2) Fast Passes that have front-of-line anytime that you can buy.
3) They are being sold by the same people who sold you
. . . elevator passes in high school
. . . parts of the Brooklyn Bridge
. . . Fords
. . . zero calorie and zero fat ice cream

Universal Studios has an option like that. It is AWESOME and totally worth the money. I can only hope that DW offers this option one day!!

It is a total ripoff and not worth the money. I believe it now cost $50.00 per person and that gives you one pass per ride. What you don't use the day of purchase you lose.

Universal has a pay-for fast pass... the cost varies based on season and projected entry for the day/time of year...

we got them for $20 one day and the next time we went back we went to get them, cause for $20 it's not too bad (though it is a single use per ride, not unlimited) and it was $40... so we said no thanks.

if disney does this, i will cry.

In my opinion, this would be awful. It's hard enough to come up with the money for these trips for some people. Let's say these people scrimp and save for years to go to WDW, and then they have to wait in line longer because they're not wealthy enough to pay even more money. We already cater too much to the rich. Let's give everyone the same shot once they're in the parks.

Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now!:)
