Barbie mp3 player??

Does anyone have a barbie mp3 player at their home and know how to work it?? Specifically how to downloaded songs onto the player?? Grandma got this for my daughter for christmas and I have yet to figure the thing out. I can't get the music to play unless the player is hooked up to the computer. I've tried songs we had already purchased that were on our computer, I've tried newly purchased music, and I've even tried from CDs we already own....still nothing but the two barbie songs it came with. :mad: I'm ready to rip my hair out and throw player through the window. :bang:

We don't have a Barbie mp3 player but I have a little experience with different mp3 players. My iPod obviously downloads through iTunes. My husband has one that downloads through the software that came with his mp3 player. The ones I bought my kids for Christmas just transfer through the USB port they connect on. Theirs is the simplest but also the most limited. It will only accept songs in mp3 format. That may sound obvious, but I was surprised how many songs I have that are in other formats. Even ones from CDs I've purchased. Most songs I download off the internet are protected so the player won't play those. What I did was do a search on my computer for *.mp3 and those are the songs I transfer to their players.

I wish I could help you. This was my DD's biggest Christmas wish and Santa brought her one. Too bad they don't run on Macintosh computers :(
