Favorite lost attraction in MK

Since i'm seeing i'm not alone in living in the past, i would like to know, what ride / show do you miss the most at the Magic Kingdom? I'm not doing it as a poll because there's too many to list, but feel free to turn this into a poll if anyone wants. I will also concider pre rehab attractions

I think the ride I miss the most has to be 2000 leagues. It was my favorite as a child and when I think disney I think of that. Oh, and I miss the skyway too. There was something just great about having the sun beating on the back of my neck while I watched the tiny people far below me rush around. It was a little slice of relaxing heaven in the middle of all the insanity (good insanity) and I miss it.:(

As far as I can read into it, it is still there. I hope to try it out this summer!

As for me, I to miss 20,000 Leagues and the Skyway. One of my fondest memories is being stuck in the Skyway right over Peter Pan.

I loved Mr. Toad and 20,000 leagues but when I was a little girl my favorite attraction was the Mickey Mouse Review. I loved the part with Alice and the singing flowers. :blush:

I only saw one other but for me it's Delta Dreamflight! It was never crowded and I guess not popular but I loved it.

Well, I posted this on a different thread, so can I quote myself???

"Well, I could list every single attraction that I miss, and I know there are some out there that would criticize me (us) for living in the past, but some of these are connected with childhood memories. They really brought us happiness and when they closed, it was as if a part of me was taken away, never to be seen again. I agree with some of the other posts - let's make a whole park with all the retired attractions/rides. Maybe they'll have those delicious Dole whips that you could get by the Tiki Room and those balloons in the shape of Mickey Mouse. Remember?

I love the theme song to "If You Had Wings." Remember riding the vehicle into the earth at the beginning? Remember feeling like you were taking off and flying in that big screen room? Remember the cop directing traffic with the people and flamingos?

How about actually believing you were driving Mr. Toad's Wild Ride? I was heartbroken if I couldn't drive the blue car. I remember standing in line and trying to count the people ahead of us to see which color we would get to ride. I miss that.

The Tiki Room was one of my all-time favorites. I can remember staring at the tiki poles and trying to figure out how their eyes and lips moved. I even thought that it actually started storming outside when the 'gods became angry.' And the music was so much better than it was now. Remember when Disney only did original stuff and didn't borrow from other movies/music/etc.??? Walt didn't even believe, for the most part, in trying to get big name stars to do his voices. He used in-house staff. That made it so much more original, in my opinion.

I could go on and on... Skyway, Horizons, Figment, Food Rocks, 20,000 Leagues..."

I miss Dreamflight!! I remember getting back on again and again when I was about 7 years old...I just loved it, and remember how neat I thought it was!! ....aww...I wish I could ride it again in September...I try to explain it to DH, but he doesn't understand...and I tried to search it on youtube....but to no avail!!

I can only choose Timekeeper because that is the only thing that was removed since I have been at WDW

But from what I have seen on my grandmother´s old videotapes, I am really sorry the Skyway is gone

If You Had Wings was the attraction I remember most from the 70's. I also miss the 70's look of Tomorrowland!
