Park hours planning

Ok, I'm going in August and the park hours/schedules have been released. Do any of you know how advanced the planning is for the P&P party? I didn't notice the MK being closed early any nights.

Disney is apt to change hours even after they have been released, however there's no knowing if they will or not.

I can't remember exactly when I bought our tickets but last year, it was probably about March or even as late as April when they announced the P&P parties for August but since that was the first year, I don't know that we can use that as a precedence.
