But I view Hall of Presidents as a show.

Well, I am one of those rare weirdos who is hooked on history. They could not have made a better combination when they made National Treasure, and then NT2 :thumbsup:. Well, my vote was for the HoP, but I do think it is just a show as opposed to a ride. If I had to pick a ride, HM would win over the riverboat any day.

Haunted Mansion is not only my favorite ride in Liberty Square but in all WDW and I think the world! (Except for Haunted Mansion Holiday at DL)

I have never been on the Riverboat and Hall of Presidents is too long and too patriotic for my taste

Not true for me. I actually really enjoy The Hall of Presidents. DD#1 (11 y.o.) and I mad a mad dash for it on our last trip and literaly missed the last show by seconds. There is something about it that makes me feel very patriotic and DD learns that education can also be fun. Her favorite literary genre is biographies. She loves to learn about people and their contributions to history.

Then again I really like my dentist!

Haunted Mansion, cant wait to see the refurb one in August. HOP is an underrated attraction. I really like how authentic the Presidents look and its a good resting spot.
