How bad are the crowds the week before the 4th of July?

We are going the last week in June and wondered what we were in store for.

I was there in the middle of June once and it was very crowded - 90 minute stand by waits everywhere.

I wonder if it lets up a bit the week before the holiday but I would be prepared for lots of people.

i have gone the last two years at this time and plan on going again this year. we make a plan. we usually go to the park by 8:30-9:00, we pretty much get on any ride we want with about a 20 minute wait, if longer we get a fass pass which usually tells us to return in about an hour. We eat lunch there and then about 2:00 go back to the hotel to swim (very hot) or walk the boardwalk or DD and then go back at dinner time for shows and rides at night. this has worked for us everytime and hopefully again this year.:blush:
