Fantasmic!

Does anyone know if Fantasmic was ever called anything else? My DD6 and I were playing an older (1996) edition of the Disney Trivia game and one of the questions I had was: "What is the nightime spectacular with fireworks at Disney's MGM Studios called?" The answer said Sorcery in the Sky. Does anyone know anything about this?

Sorcery in the Sky was the fireworks show at the Studios. It is still presented on special occasions like New Years Eve.

I think it is also performed on the 4th of July??? I have not gotten to see it, but I hear it is magnificient.

Nope, it was Sorcerery in the Sky. I always chalked it up to it being Sorcerer Mickey, even though I don't remember him being prevalent at the start of the fireworks. They used to have it all the time, but then they brought Fantasmic over from Disneyland and pretty much stopped showing it.
