Favorite ride or attraction to go on First!

What ride/attraction do you like to go on when you first arrive?

We usually head right to MK. My kids love to go on Buzz Lightyear as their first and last ride!!

It would be either Pirates or SM for us, depending on which side of the MK we went to first.:thumbsup:

At EPCOT it's always been Spaceship Earth.

At Disney Studies...if I'm not expecting (which I have been several trips) - RRC, otherwise, GMR.

At AK, Kilamanjaro Safaris.

At MK, growing up it was always go to the left to Adventureland and start with one of the rides there, usually Tiki Room. Now we tend to go to the right and start with Buzz.

Our first ride of every trip is almost always POTC. Arrival time and hotel make MK the logical choice and this is a good ride to get into the Disney spirit.:cloud9:

We always ride Buzz Lightyear first when at MK, Star Tours at Hollywood Studios, and Soarin at EPCOT. No rhyme or reason, just habit.

We try to hit Mickey's Philharmagic in MK (at least since it opened a few years ago). It's a great start to the "magic."

definately spaceship earth. when i went a long time ago and was terrified of rides (not anymore!!!), my dad said this was the perfect way to start off a trip to disney. it has the magical feeling, and it's true :)

We go straight to a MK. It doesn't matter where because we love all the rides.

MK - Tea Cups then Dumbo as directed by my 4 year old.
MGM/DHS - TOT, but usually turns into a show. :D

We always start and end our vacation at the MK. Nothing beats the sight of the castle when you enter, even after all trips it still makes my heart flutter. First ride is always HM, than POTC.

We usually dont pick out one to ride first but for some reason when we got there a few weeks ago we rode Star Tours! My DS loves star wars and we just happened to go to Studios First!

DH and I have a tradition on riding the TTA first. Thing is, we usually went to the parks the first night so this was great since there's never a long line. But when going to the Magic Kingdom in the morning, it sure doesn't make much sense... :mickey:

:D Usually my last ride is Haunted Mansion, because I go back and do it one last time....the first ride varies with what park we are in....the first thing we plan on riding on our upcoming trip is the Great Movie Ride in Hollywood Studios.

For our initial visit to WDW, we fly into Orlando, check-in to the resort and head to Epcot via the International Gateway. This to me is the perfect beginning... a less crowded, laid back intro. We then head to Future World and take in rides with Fast Passes and short waits.

We always begin and end our trips at the MK.

Because my DW and DS LOVE SM, we usuallt start with something in Tomorrowland. More times than nor we FP SM and ride Buzz ot FP SM and ride SM standby.

We always start and finish in MK with SM. It will be hard breaking our tradition when SM goes into rehab.

We don't have a set park to go to first but in each park we usually do

Epcot== Soarin
DS=====RnR or ToT
AK=====Everest
MK=====Dumbo or one of the fantasyland rides.

This past trip though we did Laugh Floor first since they were just letting out and we could walk right in!

For us we always head to MK first and straight to IASW which we ride at least once (usually multiple times!) and then move on to Peter Pan. We also end with IASW! Have to keep that song in our heads! :blush:

Usually grab FP for Splash, then head to POTC. After POTC and Splash, try BTMRR. End each trip with SM, CoP, or TTA....than get a cone, and head out!

In the MK we typically go to Adventureland first and do the Jungle Cruise. Lately we learned a new trick and head straight for Fantasyland right when the park opens and ride all of those rides first with no wait at all.

In Epcot we ride Spaceship Earth first but on our last trip SE was close for rehab, which messed us up so we started with Soarin' but on our next trip it is right back to Spaceship Earth!!!

Everywhere else we do whatever strikes our fancy that morning.

Our first park of our trip on the last three times we visited has been Disney's Hollywood Studios (That still doesn't sound right.) So the first ride we do is the ToT. It's my 6 year old DS's favorite.
