I remember in the 80's when the Disney Channel first came out. i used to watch the classic cartoons before I went to school. I think they should have a Disney Classic Cartoon Channel. I would watch it!

Yeah, I remember watching those classic cartoons before going to school when I was a kid too, it was cool. Now I pop in a Disney Treasures DVD when I want to see the classic cartoons.

We don't have cable so it wouldn't matter if there was a channel that played them or not, we wouldn't have it!

I used to watch Vault Disney at midnight. I really miss it. I taped several episodes, but that was almost 10 years ago. Those video tapes are taking a beating. Disney should bring those back!!!!:mickey:

Absolutely. DH and I were just talking about this the other day. The kids love the Disney cartoons they play at the hotels. I wish we had a channel like that at home.

id love to see a disney classic channel.
i also remember d-tv, a show that ran in the early 80s on disney channel. it was pop muic videos, with the music set to old cartoons of mickey and donald, etc.

FYI, you can get a collection of lots of old (by old, I mean like, 50's and 60's) Disney shorts. Its a tin collection called "Disney Rarities." It is awesome. I got that set and I watched shorts every day for weeks. I totally recommend it if you like the shorts channel that they play in the hotels.
