Called today, and we were able to switch our August reservation (2 bedroom villa for 10 days) from Saratoga to the Boardwalk!!! :joy::clappy::joy:

We stayed at the Boardwalk in Aug '06 and absolutely fell in love with it! The location is so convenient, and we loved overlooking the canal that leads to the studios. Enjoy!

We almost made it to BWV for Feb..but there was nothing on the 7th anywhere for us..so we had to switch dates and go with SSR....How did you like the wait today??? I spent 90 minutes total today..you can tell it is Christmas booking time!!

Oh my goodness - I had no idea it was Christmas booking time!

I had to call twice - the first time - was to do the switch - 20 mins on hold, and the 800 number didn't work.

Then I need a handicapable villa - they put me on hold again while they called the boardwalk. I wanted the studio bathroom to be the one that had the handicap assistive railings - but they told me that at the boardwalk only the bathroom off the king room had it. I had to go back to work, so i told them I'd call them back.

I called back - got someone else - who called the Boardwalk again - who gave me the same info.

This is all for Mom who's in her 70's and needs railings in the bathroom. So she's going to have to use the King bathroom and not the bathroom in the connecting studio......

Oh well - at least the assistance is there....

And yes - it was really long waits - without the 800 number working!!
