What's that Hotel?

I was playing around with Google Earth this afternoon and noticed a property that I have never seen before (coming from South Florida we rarely, if ever, travel to WDW coming from the west.) The hotel I'm talking about is almost directly WEST of Animal Kingdom, practically parallel with the savannah section of Kilimanjaro Safaris. It is also due north of Animal Kingdom Lodge. From the sky (Google Earth) it looks like the hotel has a really cool pool with a very long lazy river. If anyone knows, I'm curious about this hotel and how long it's been there. Thanks.

Are you thinking of Beach Club? That's the only one coming to mind with a lazy river but it's not west of AK....or, not to my knowledge. Unless it's Gaylord Palms...

If so, I think that is the Orange Lake Resort & Country Club (http://www.orangelake.com/tour_our_resort/home.html), but to confess, I am not positive.

If that area above is indeed correct- it is actually identified on the latest version of GoogleEarth as the Orange Lake Country Club Resort.
And that pool DOES look fantastic! :thumbsup:

That's it... although I should say that the resort's website doesn't do a good job of promoting the pool area. It really looks incredible.

Wow that place has sure changed since I stayed there about 22 years ago!
