Oh intercot Guru's...I call upon your wisdom in search of insight on how this works? :D

Hi folks! Normally, I plan for trips later in the year about this time, so rates for the year of travel are already set. This time I am planning a trip for the 2009 marathon weekend.
Here are my questions
Does anyone know when 2009 rates become available?
Can I reserve rooms now and if I pay in full can I pay 2008 rates for them, or is it still subject to change to the '09 rates?
What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? (Sorry for the Monty Python moment :D)

You can pay whatever they quote you now (which they will do using 2008 rates) but you will have to pay the difference when the 2009 rates come out.
Not to sure when they will release those.
And although i have a friend who always quoted Monty Python growing up...i'm not familiar with that one. :)

Debbie at MJ told me that the rates for 2009 for the dates we're going wouldn't be out until this summer. We're not going until December, 2009 though.

Hey all you early planners!! We went through Debbie at MJ too, and I got the same info: this summer rates will come out. I am wanting a Nov 18th-28th trip to happen, here's hoping:notworth::pixie:

Thanks, we are also planning a trip in 2009. Hopefully in July. Only time my brother in law and get away from Michigan due to work..Well I guess that gives plenty of planning time... :mickey:
