Is the use of the safe included with the per night charge or is using it an additional charge?

Thanks!

Are there room safes at every resort, or just the deluxe ones?

There is a room safe in every room.

Just keep in mind that they are small, Usually all we keep in them is money and jewerly.

I think that the only charge is if you loose the key. Some of the moderates and deluxes may have the digital safes, but the values resorts have keys.

When we were at the WL in 2006, the safes had keys (even in the newly remodeled rooms). In fact, when we tried to use the safe the first time, the key broke off in the lock. They sent someone right up and fixed it and didn't charge us for the key breaking off.

I will echo the comment about the safes being SMALL. My estimate is that they're only about 4" deep, 8-10" tall, and 8-10" across. My husband had to stand his wallet up, as it wasn't wide enough for it to lay flat.

If you need to lock up larger items, check with the front desk and they can lock up for you.

Good luck!!

The ones at the Poly (at least the room we had) were the digital ones and they were not too small. We kept our wallets (mine was a long ladies one), important travel documents, extra pins (in one of those lunchmeat plastic rectangle containers), pins on lanyards we weren't wearing and prescription meds (I'm a bit of a freak about identify security) in it. They were really easy to use.

I have also seen a picture of a safe at the Poly (that was posted) with a standard size lap top in it, basically proving you can store one inside. (One of the guide books states you cannot store a lap top in the safe.)

I am thinking perhaps some resorts have larger safes..
