Hi. Does anyone know the minimum age requirement to get a haircut at the Main Street barber Shop? My son will be 2 1/2 when we go in April. My daughter will be getting the princess treatment at the BBB so we thought he could get something at the barber shop. I just don't know if he is old enough. Thanks.

My daughter was 18 months old and they took her without issue. They covered her legs with mickey stickers and she spent the entire haircut playing with those :mickey: Just go as soon as it opens to avoid waiting a long time.

I'm not sure if there is a min age, but we took my friend's DS to get his hair cut and he was only one. They do a great job. He even got Mickey ears with First hair cut on the back

There is no minimum age. As long as your son is physically able to sit in the barbers chair, he can get his hair cut. Tons of kids have had their first hair cuts there. :)

They even cut my 6 week old nephews hair. Well, they cut a lock of it anyway. And didn't charge my sister. I had told her that her older son couldn't have an "official" haircut until he was at Disney. He was 2 1/2 when he got his first real haircut. Since she doesn't know when she'll be back with the baby, this was his first "official" haircut. They even gave her the lock of hair, certificate and ears for him.
These stylists do an excellent job. They are used to working with little ones and are very good at working around the fidgits.
